IMPORTANT VENUE NOTICE For WAQA Meetings

Due to exorbitant rental increase at Stirling Adriatic Centre the WAQA Management Committee has unanimously agreed on changes to most of our meetings starting in January 2022.

Sewing Day and Sewing Night will run back-to-back on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 10am to 10pm at Stirling Adriatic Centre.

Entry to Sewing Day will be from 9.30am.

Entry to Sewing Night will be from 5.30pm.

Sewing Night will no longer be on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Other WAQA meetings will be on the 1st Wednesday of the month at Alexander Park Craft House, Clyde Road, Menora.

These include:

o   BYO Machine and Evening Beginners (Jan 5, Mar 2, other dates TBA)

o   General Meetings x 3 (Hexi Heaven Feb 2, Amazing Asia Apr 6, Contemporary Capers date TBA)

o   Annual General Meeting (Oct 5)

o   Open Night

PLEASE let your WAQA friends know of the changes since some do not read emails or visit the website.

I apologise for such late notice.  My thanks to Pat Forster and Leone Formentin for helping with the negotiation, accounting and planning.  Their support was greatly appreciated.
