Fibres West 2025 - WAQA Scholarship

As in past years, WAQA is offering a $1000 scholarship to assist a member who, without the benefit of the scholarship, would have difficulty attending Fibres West.

The Fibres West event will take place October 5 - 11, 2025 at Narrogin College of Agriculture, WA

Spend a whole week in a wonderfully creative environment, connect with fellow textile enthusiasts, and learn from the best.

The scholarship applicant must be a financial member of WAQA at the time of application and during the Fibres West 2025 residency. The successful applicant will be chosen on merit with particular interest in supporting a member who is keen to explore and share innovative textile techniques with WAQA.

The scholarship will provide $1,000 towards the full-fee registration cost, with the recipient contributing the balance of the full-fee registration and their workshop materials list costs. Applications close on 1 June 2025.
