Edith Cowan University Mount Lawley Campus

Is this the future for quilting groups that currently use Alexander Park Craft House??

Development WA is currently at the beginning of the planning process for the ECU Mount Lawley Campus site redevelopment which won't begin until 2027. No decisions have been made and it is not known if any of the buildings will be retained, or even considered for retention, but it is known that provision of medium and possibly high density housing, including some accessible and affordable housing is on the Government agenda.

If anyone feels that retention of any of the current resources should be considered in the planning process this is an opportunity to say something.

Have Your Say on the Future of the ECU Mount Lawley Site

DevelopmentWA has embarked on an exciting journey to transform the ECU Mount Lawley site into a vibrant new community and we want you to be part of shaping its future.

In November 2024 we are hosting two workshops with our newly formed Community Reference Group (CRG) to gather valuable insights on the project’s vision and objectives. The CRG will develop a set of design principles reflecting their aspirations, which will guide the creation of the future Master Plan.

We’re eager to hear your feedback on these design principles and the broader redevelopment plans.

Join us at one or both of our upcoming community information sessions:
