WAQA COVID Plan

WAQA has many members in higher risk categories (of older age and/or with existing health conditions) therefore it is really important that we take public health advice seriously. The WAQA Management Committee agreed at the Management Meeting on Thursday April 28 to revise the February COVID Plan (in accordance with changes effective Friday 28 April) to the protocols as listed below.

The full COVID Protocols for WAQA are listed below and you can print the document if needed.

COVID Protocols for WAQA

Aim: To provide an environment with reduced risk of COVID transmission for all WAQA meetings, whilst complying with the State Government COVID-19 current guidelines.

Proof of COVID-19 Vaccinations: No longer required at any WAQA meetings.

Mask Wearing: No longer required, but encouraged for all WAQA meetings.

Social Distancing: No density or capacity limits at any venues.

Updates: Changes to these protocols will be necessary as the Government Guidelines change. (WAQA Constitution 18.6)

Notification to Members: These protocols to be published on all WAQA media platforms and republished as changes are required.
These protocols to be managed actively by all convenors of WAQA meetings, Special Interest Groups and events.
