Sending in photographs
We would be happy to have a changing display of quilt photos on the site. If you can only send prints then please do not send valuable photographs. We will be happy to return any that you send however we cannot take responsibility should they be lost in transit. Digital photos generally do not need to be more than 400-500k for webpage purposes with a resolution of 72 ppi – and in fact, even at that size, they will be reduced before being placed on the webpage. If you have a number of photos which add up to a large email (ie. greater than 3 or 4mb, then perhaps send them in several smaller emails). Don’t forget to send the quiltmaker’s name and the name of the work.
WAQA respects your privacy. Typically we store information such as name, address, email and phone details provided by you via this website or membership application form. This information is only used by WAQA to deliver services to you as a member (such as mailing you your Quilters’ Quarterly magazine and emailing the QNews) or to respond to your questions submitted via this website.
