Merry Christmas!!

WAQA had its XMAS Party a little early this year (at the November Sewing Day and Sewing Night), but that did not deter most people from getting into XMAS mode through outfits, hats, decorations and food.

The decorated tables were a sight to behold, as members brought in their XMAS treasures which made for some pretty impressive displays. Of course the food on some of the tables was even more impressive in quantity as well as quality. I cannot imagine how anyone could have gone home hungry!!

Lots of members dressed up in XMAS clothing or headgear, which added to the festive occasion. The photo wall was a wonderful idea, with quite a few using the supplied props and frames to have fun photos taken. The scrolling slide show of the photos encouraged some of the more reserved to get into the spirit of the occasion. With individuals and groups, formal and informal, colour coordinated or in disguise, it only needed a better camera (or more likely a better photographer??) to do justice to our attending members and Diamond Sponsors (Kennedys Creative Sewing Centre and Handcrafters House).
