Amazing Display by Suzanne Gummow

Almost two weeks ago approximately 45 members were treated to a display of Suzanne Gummow’s amazing work. The evening began with a very quick General Meeting followed by Suzanne’s presentation.

The audience was entertained with descriptions of the places Suzanne had visited and how she drew inspiration from what she saw as she was growing and then on her travels. Suzanne had quite a few pieces of work to talk to and show off, with Lesley being very helpful in displaying the pieces so all could see.

At the conclusion of the presentation, the audience was encouraged to wander around and take a closer look at Suzanne’s quilts and other pieces of work. The time and effort that Suzanne put into making some of the pieces was obvious when seen up close. Viewing such talent is definitely inspiring!
