Perth Modern Quilt Guild: meets monthly to quilt, sew, socialise and share their ‘quilting obsession’. In between meetings they share a love of modern fabrics and quilting online through various social media forums. http://perthmodernquiltguild.com

Quilt and Textile Study Group: are a small group of people interested in all sorts of quilts and textiles, old and new. They meet just five afternoons a year, generally on a Saturday, to hear a guest speaker, visit an exhibition or a museum, or visit the studio of a local textile artist and/or quilt maker. Sister City Friendship: In 1990 Sister City Friendship saw integration with the Kagoshima Quilters in Japan and an invitation extended to their quilting groups to send quilts to the Fifth Biennial Quilt Exhibition. Several Japanese members brought their quilts and spent a very pleasant week attending the Exhibition and enjoying the sights of Perth.
