QuiltWest Postponement New Dates – Here we go again!

Expertise Events announced new dates for QuiltWest yesterday following the update of Covid restrictions and border closures in NSW.

New Dates are November 3rd – 7th .

Quilt Drop off will go ahead as planned today.

Judging will begin on Saturday 26th June and will be over 2 days.

Change of plan – all entrants have been emailed and asked to collect their quilts between 3pm – 5pm on Sunday 27th June. We cannot store quilts for nearly 4 months. All country members will be contacted personally.

We understand this change is at very short notice, so we please ask you to get a friend to collect your quilt/s on your behalf on Sunday if you are unable to do so.

Please contact either Phil or me if you are unable to collect your quilts or make alternative arrangements.

Prizes and presentation of prizes:

  • Prize winners will be notified in the usual manner after the Judging weekend.
  • Prizes will be awarded at the presentation ceremony at Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre  on November 3rd

Tickets

  • Expertise Events will honour all tickets purchases that have be made for the postponed May and July exhibitions

Rosters

  • Our rosters administrator will contact you very soon regarding rosters for the November exhibition.

Please contact either Phil or me if you are unable to collect your quilts or make alternative arrangements.

We will do our best to help all our entrants and WAQA members and ask that you be  patient as we deal with this situation.

Further updates about the changes of circumstances will be emailed after the judging weekend.

If you have any queries, please contact Phil or myself.

Hi I’m from SA and a mad quilter! We’re in Tom Price and got a few months travelling up this way… Are there any exhibition or galleries I shouldn’t miss. Hoping to get as far as Fitzroy Crossing . Thanks Marg
