Travelling by bus to visit quilting shops was a great way to a enjoy a Saturday and accumulate points for the WAQA Shop Hop.
First stop was Classic Stitches with many people walking out with overflowing Shop Hop bags. Lucky they had other bags to use for the next two stops. A highlight was the wonderful morning tea and the chance to sit and chat about the items bought.
Second stop was Craft Collections and what an amazing place. It was described by someone as an Aladdin’s Cave, and I agree as there were many treasures to be found. Not sure anyone was able to resist buying fabric from this store.
Final stop was Cotton Rose with some members opting for afternoon tea first, whilst others went straight for the fabric and yarn on offer. There were lots of prizes given out to those that had luck on their side.
Thanks to Leone Formentin for a well organised and very enjoyable shopping day. Keep an eye out for the next bus trip and come along for a fun day out.
