Creative Quilts by Creative Angels

The Creative Angels group invited me to join them at their meeting last week to see some of the quilts they had made.

The group donates the completed quilts directly to a number of organisations such as Kalparrin at Perth Children’s Hospital, the Patricia Giles Centre and Shalom House.

I enjoyed hearing how each quilter uses a different approach in the making of a quilt top, from the manner in which the fabrics are selected, what block or blocks are used, and how the blocks are put together. I was then treated to a display of quilt tops that each member had brought.

Thanks to the ladies of the Creative Angels group for a lovely morning and for allowing me to take photographs of some of their quilts.

My daughter is in Brightwater in East Vic Park.
She has received one of your beautiful quilts.

As a fellow quilter I really appreciate the hours of work that went into it. Thank you so much
