Easter Greetings

From my home to yours, I hope you are all as well as can be.  It will indeed be a very different Easter for all of us and indeed a very different world when we come out on the other side.  Easter originated in the Northern hemisphere, and as well as the being one of the major Christian holidays it also falls in with a time of renewal and hope and the beginning of Spring.     I hope you are all managing and trying to find a small ray of sunshine in your everyday.

I also think at this time, many people are de-cluttering, trying their hand at diy or ticking things off their to do lists.   I  have now been back in Perth a year and still had many packing boxes that needed a bit of attention.  I came across this dvd yesterday, I am really hoping that I can “save” some photos off it and post them here.  Many of the quilt makers who have made quilts on this dvd, are continuing to make just as many beautiful quilts in 2020.

Cathy Gregg from WAQA community quilts also sent me a photo of a quilt that her sister, Jennifer Neervoort made,  who was a member last year, the fabric donated by Woven Threads was won last year during WAQA Shop Hop.

If you are a WAQA member, the Qnews will also be delivered to your inbox soon, this is a great way to keep up to date with what is happening.  Cathy & Andrea will also let you know what kind of quilt donations are still needed via Community quilters, if you are looking for something to do.

If you have any Easter or lock down craftiness projects to share, please send them through to me, I would love to make up a collage of what everyone is up to and share them with our blog readers…… don’t be shy.

    • Hi Deb, hope you are quilting up a storm and would love to see some photos. Thanks for your comments. Lorraine ( Website & blog author) I am sure Alex would also love to see them too so she can post on the WAQA Facebook and Insta pages.
