Hi everyone, in regards to my previous post, remember to check out our sponsors web sites or social media pages. Many of them now have reduced hours, we wish them all the very best for what lies ahead. Stay connected with them, and let them know you are thinking of them during these times.
News from Michelle at Handcrafters House
Not only are we are doing our bit to combat the coronavirus by adopting strict hygiene practices, safe social distancing with ourselves and customers but, we have now decided it is time to reduce our trading times (see below for details), offering concentrated shopping hours to encourage customers and team members stay home so you can at least semi self-isolate for longer periods.
Mondays – Closed as from April 6
Tues-Friday- 9.30- 3.30
Saturday – 9.30-1.30
Ring ahead, Michelle & staff, can bring out your order to your car.
To help keep you inspired and creative during these strange and uncertain times, we have been working on getting more content online and have plans for classes/tutorials as well, time permitting. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram pages to keep up with what we are doing.
We love the interaction we are getting from our customers via email, phone and social media. It is so good that we have the internet to stay connected to each other. Remember to reach out to your quilting friends to check in to see if they are OK.
No sewing machine repairs at this time.
Cotton Rose – Vasse

Photo taken in the early days of March during WAQA Shop hop, prior to all restrictions now in place.
Tanya is at this stage still open for business, with strict limitations on how many can be in her shop. She has also restocked many goodies on her website for you to browse through. If you live in Bunbury, you can still visit Vasse and Craft Collections in Bunbury.
Keep safe with your families and keep updated on the Covid 19 virus from all reputable sources, and of course wherever you can, STAY HOME! and if you have the time, and are not working from home, or going through a huge note pad filled with other things you need to do then think about cleaning out your fabric/embellishments/craft stash, calming yourself and being creative.
Congratulations to all at WAQA who are doing a great job to keep members together with the outside world .A very big thank you to Phil Thomas who is providing an opportunity to members.I can keep busy with the many skills I have gained from being a WAQA member for MANY years
