Pink Owls

Like most quilters, from time to time I am on either end of the give-and-receive fabric pass-on phenomenon.

This time I received:  a set of triangles planned to create bunting. An informed guess, since three flags were already sewn, and another 10 or so cut triangles. Because I believe a quilt is always more useful than bunting, I deconstructed the flags, added a few triangles of my own plus some end triangles and made a quilt top.

The design was fun and easy to complete. This quilt is destined for my guild’s charity collection, WAQA Community Quilts.

Thank you Meg Cowey, for allowing me to share with all our WAQA blog readers.
