The WAQA Beginner group has grown since QuitWest with five newbies at the last meeting. Great to see them all produce their first strip by the end of the lesson. Good to have a new teaching aide, Susan Sheath to help with the tricky questions.

Hello my name is Sandra Pember and im interested in joining a group of quilters in my local area. Im a beginner/intermediate quilter, and im hoping that someone could help me with info about a group near me in Banksia Grove.
Hello Sandra, thanks for your message. There are many groups in the northern suburbs. If you send Leanne Lazarus an email I am sure she will be happy to assist you. waqasmallgroups@gmail.com . Another suggestion is to contact any sewing outlets in your area and they may have the names of contact groups in your area. Kind regards Lorraine.
