Community Quilt Bee dates for 2019

Our WAQA Community quilters are an amazing bunch of people.  Why not come and join them if you have a few spare hours, you will be spending time with like minded people and assisting them with the cutting, sewing, binding and quilting of gorgeous baby, lap, single or double quilts, that are dontated to many different groups in the community who need them most.  Don’t be shy, you will be made to feel so welcome, you will wonder why you have never attended a Community quilt day before.  If you regularly attend, why not bring along a friend.  These are the dates for 2019.

Hi Blog Boss, ( please forgive me , I’m not sure of your name 😊) Cathy Gregg here, A big thank you ! That is a fabulous blog for Community Quilts!! Andrea and I are looking forward to Sunday and meeting more of the regular ladies and any new ones who come to enjoy the day being creative or just want to sit and sew and or do some hand sewing and enjoy the company of like minded people. You may be able to tell that we are still learning the ropes! Also .. A big thank you to Gail, Gwen, Liz & Sandy for their help and back up 👌

    • Always a pleasure Catherine, now I am relocating I hope to get to a few community quilt bees myself!! It is a great way to meet new people, you can always pick up some great tips and of course helping to see these quilts come together and then being donated gives you a warm feeling inside. Lorraine.
