Yarning time

On the morning of August 8 it was yarning time,  for Stella King, Liz Humphreys, Roberta Chantler, Meg Cowey, Pat Forster and five Noongar Elders. The occasion was hosted by the City of Perth, and several City of Perth employees popped in to also see the quilts. The 16 piece Wetlands quilt set will be displayed in the library August 21 – November 8.

There will be talks in the library auditorium on September 27, 12noon-1pm, bookings will open soon on the library website, and on October 20, 2pm-3pm, bookings will open in September on the Heritage Perth website.
