April Sewing Day was busy as ever.

Megan Byrne revealed tricks on doing trapunto in the pop up

Michael Donnelly, a retired US navy captain who received his Quilt of Valour in 2016 in recognition of his navy pursuits during the Vietnam war, talked at sewing day about how receiving his quilt and the hug that came with it, had a profound affect on him even to this day .

Micheala was there to help and support her Mum not only with Tracy’s Layered Creation shop…

… but also to show off the community quilts for foster children and Cyrenian House

Tess and the Care to Create team had a lovely shop and their demo on all the latest from the Tilda range was inspiring
