The Bunbury International Quilt Challenge is an annual competition, established in 1997 by the Bunbury Patchwork and Quilting Group, which invites Australian and international quilters to produce a piece of work responding to a theme and using a common piece of fabric in the quilt. The challenge will be on display at the Bunbury Regional Arts Centre in Wittenoom St, Bunbury.
There will not be a display of any other quilts from members during this exhibition however the rest of the gallery will be open for viewing.
Cost: No entry charge!
Note: Stirling Streets Arts Centre will be having a Makers Market and Vintage Fair on Sunday 17 April 2016 where there will be food stalls, performers, vintage cars, art to wear, vintage stalls, only handcrafted and homemade goods for sale and Devon shire teas (an opportunity to combine the two events…) Time: 9 am – 3pm.
