As you will have read in the December QQ, we are meeting for the 1st time on Friday 5th February from 6.00pm at Lady Fatima Hall in Palmyra. The aim of “Exotica” is to dispel the myth that quilts need to be made from ‘patchwork fabric’ by allowing a stunning collection of donated furnishing fabrics to inspire our creations. We may need to adjust some traditional techniques and practices, but she who dares, WINS. The donated furnishing fabrics are part of the ever-expanding Community Quilts resource, so the final products will go towards this programme. Numbers are now filling, so get in quickly if you would like to be part of the Exotica group. For details have another look at your December QQ .
